Ed Sheeran Announces North American Tour Dates
Ed Sheeran has today announced a series of 15 dates for his first solo North American tour, a tour that begins on Friday 22nd August in Seattle and runs until Thursday 18th September in Toronto. The Wamu Theater in Seattle will be staging the first date of Ed Sheeran’s tour on Friday 22nd August, with a trip to Canada the very next day and a performance at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver. On Friday 29th August Ed will be performing the first of two concerts in Nevada, at The Chelsea – The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, with the second concert taking place the very next day on Saturday 30th August, with a concert at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale Arizona bring the August calendar of events to a close on Sunday 31st.
September will see Ed Sheeran perform 10 concerts in just 17 days, the first of which will take place in Missouri at the Sprint Center in Kansas City on Tuesday 2nd, with a trip to Ohio to follow on Thursday 4th with this particular concert taking place at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland. From Ohio Ed Sheeran will then head for Pennsylvania and a performance at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Monday 8th September, with a trip to Boston on Tuesday 9th where he will be performing at the Xfinity Center in Massachusetts.
The Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte will play host to a concert on Thursday 11th September, a venue that is located in the state of North Carolina. The arena will also be staging numerous other events throughout 2014 with Justin Timberlake, Cher and Bruce Springsteen just three of the names that will be taking to the stage at the 18,000 all seater arena, an arena that will also be staging the musical Jesus Christ Superstar during the next few months. On Friday 12th September Ed Sheeran will be in Atlanta, Georgia performing at The Arena at Gwinnett Center, then he will be heading to Nashville, Tennessee to perform at the Bridgestone Arena on Saturday 13th September. Trips to Minneapolis and Chicago will take place on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th September, with the tour finale taking place on Thursday 18th September at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.
