Ariana Grande Postpones her Tampa and Orlando Shows

Ariana Grande is postponing two shows due to illness. The 25-year-old singer notified her fans via Instagram Story on Tuesday that two Florida dates on her Sweetener world tour will have to be rescheduled after she fell ill.

“Tampa & Orlando, I woke up incredibly sick today, ran to my doctor here and have been told to postpone these shows tonight and tomorrow. I’m so beyond devastated.” Grande wrote on her Instagram.

“I will make this up to you, I promise,” she vowed. “Please forgive me. I love you and I will be back and better than ever as soon as possible. Love you.”

The cancelled shows were scheduled for May 28th in Amalie Arena in Tampa, and for May 29th at Amway center in Orlando. But, rest assured, you do not have to miss seeing and hearing the 7 Rings singer for the Tampa and Orlando shows will now take place on November 24th and November 25th, respectively.

Grande is obviously sorry to disappoint her fans and looks forward to seeing them in November. The tickets for the shows are refundable, or they can be used for the new dates.

Her next performance will be at Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Friday, May 31st. She kicked off her Sweetener tour in Albany, New York, in March and the tour will be brought to an end with the rescheduled Orlando show on the November 25th.

The singer’s Sweetener tour is her fourth outing after her Dangerous Woman Tour, which ran from February 2017 to September 2017. The current tour is set to promote her fourth and fifth studio albums, Sweetener, released in 2018 and Thank U, Next, released in February this year.

The tickets for all of the Sweetener Tour shows, including the rescheduled ones, are available here.
