Contactmusic.com reports that Cher, 62, denies that it was a cancer diagnosis that made her pull out of her last two performances at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas earlier this month.

The rumor had it that the singer was dealing with cancer, but Cher says that she was just unable to sing due to allergies, which made her throat sore.

“My health is great… If I had cancer everyone would know it. I wouldn’t tell them, but somebody would. When you have those kind of things happen if you’re famous you can’t keep them a secret,” the singer is quoted as saying by the entertainment site.

Even though the dates have not yet been decided, Elton John and his fellow pianist Billy Joel are planning to tour together again sometime next year.

The two pop/rock icons have toured together four times before. During these so called “Face to Face” tours, the two have played each other’s songs and performed duets.

Elton John has sold over 200 million records, making him one of the most successful artists of all time. John was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 and was knighted in 1998. For now, John will continue to perform mostly at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Billy Joel has sold over 150 million albums worldwide. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999. Joel “retired” from recording pop music in 1993 but continued to tour – sometimes with Elton John.

After an eight-year break, the woman with the famous voice, the short skirts and the amazing energy is back!

Tina Turner kicked-off her first tour in almost a decade in Kansas City on October 1 and is now traveling all around the U.S. performing for virtually sold-out crowds.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the immortal Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, now 68, recently explained that this was exactly the right time for her to hit the road again. “I can still do it. I’m still in shape enough physically, mentally and I think this was about the best time to do it”, she said.

Last Sunday, the rock icon performed songs such as “Private Dancer”, “What’s Love Got to Do with It” and “We Don’t Need Another Hero” before a packed house in Dallas and according to music critic Mario Tarradell at the Dallas Morning News, she was “fabulous”. Tarradell even went so far as writing: “watching Tina Turner perform is akin to witnessing entertainment royalty.”

Tickets for Tina Turner’s first tour since 2000 are available now at TicketCenter.com.

Oscar De La Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao

Oscar De La Hoya was just six years old when he first began to box. “My brother, Joel Jr., put a pair on me and the other pair on one of my cousins,” Oscar recalled.

De La Hoya never pictured himself becoming a fighter. He was always found in the park playing baseball with the other kids.

His first true test of the power in his left hand came in the ’92 Olympics.

He had promised an ill mother, Cecilia, that he would bring back home the gold medal from those Olympics and in his mind there was no question of failing to keep that promise.

He did so, dominating the entire match, in what was the most emotion filled moment of those Olympics.

De La Hoya’s amateur boxing career holds an amazing 223 wins, with 163 knockouts.

Now you have a chance to witness history as De La Hoya fights in what has been billed as the Dream Match.

This ten time world champion will face down MANNY “Pacman” PACQUIAO on Saturday, December 6 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Imagine it!!! Fabulous Las Vegas and De La Hoya too.
