Since then he has given many chartbusters and won several awards, including Artist of the Decade. His latest album ‘Twang' reached gold status and was nominated for a Grammy for the best country album.

The story of Reba McEntire is strikingly similar to George Strait. She grew up on a staple diet of country music and achieved popularity in the 80's. Some of his popular songs include ‘How blue', ‘Only in my mind' & ‘whoever's in New England', which was awarded a Grammy. McEntire's success saga continued into the 90's and she recorded many popular songs. She went on a hiatus in 2001 to dip into acting, and returned with a bang to record several other successful albums. Her latest album, keep on loving you, was released on August 2009.
